The point of all these is "No Filler". Some canons are skipped in the main folders, but still included in the compilation, just grouped separately.
any plex compatible list? i dont mind fillers as well since they are often not bad.

You put a lot of work into this collection and even made a guide for watching, which I, as a first-time watcher, appreciate. 😊 I just wanted to ask if there's a need to watch movies and OVAs, as they should not be canon? Also, the same question for the other animes you included in the list (Magic Kaito 1412 and The Culprit Hanzawa), are they essential to the plot of the main anime to fully enjoy? And lastly, I have a good internet connection and will keep seeding this for some time 😊
@Genesis92, Wow, I feel so honored to be of service for first time watchers. Yes, I added them because they might enhance your viewing experience. Although, they are optional, feel free to not include them if you feel it's a waste of time as well. OVA's and Specials are for overly diehard fans. Tbh, I didn't watched the Culprit Hanzawa, but Magic Kaito 1420 is a nice addition, and I've enjoyed it.

While the quality of the remastered episodes is noticably better, sadly the subtitles are much worse and I can't recommend watching the series with those.
The first batch of 123 eps (which I believe are the crunchyroll subs) are perfectly fine, but from there it gets noticably worse, For example when in japanese the characters talk about a person with no specified gender, the subtitles randomly switch between he and she multiple times within one minute (for example ep129 32m34s). There are also multiple times where odd translations are used, like for example calling the apoptoxin a medicine instead of a drug. The japanese word for both (kusuri) is the same, but with context it should be clear that drug would be the word meant. Also people like Agasa calling Haibara a "chick". There are many odd translations like this in almost every episode after 123 and like the pronoun thing, it doesn't seem like mistakes a human would make, especially if they see what is happening on screen, so I guess that the bilibili/netflixJP subs are very likely AI generated without any context and no one at bili/netflix wanted to bother quality-checking 700+ episodes.
Especially on a series like Conan, where precise wording is important to get cues correctly, that's a big issue and can ruin the whole experience.
I would recommend to switch out the subs for all remastered episodes after ep123 with softsubs from fansubs and files from dubbing companies we have access to. Here is a torrent for those: https://nyaa.si/view/1366792
Try to stay with renowned fansub groups like DCTP, Kienai, Kaizou ect. and check the subs before using them. In some cases there are multiple options, for example for ep129, the KnKF subs are fine while the XCHKS ones are very bad. Also in that torrent some use the japanese episode order and some use international ep order, so you might need to sort, rename and compare the files a bit to get a definitive collection of best available softsubs to use.
Alternatively, if re-timing fan softsubs would be too much work, I would at least put back the regular fansubbed episodes for ep 123+ and include the remastered eps only as an alternative option (or make 2 different torrents) with a warning that the subtitles on the remastered eps beyond 123 are likely unchecked AI generations and may contain misleading information.
If you ever make another update for this, please add the filler episodes in a separate folder so we can have a complete version, and for people who don't want fillers they can just not download the filler folder. I know I can find them in Fabre releases, but would love to have them in the same format.
